I’m going to take this opportunity to post one of my favorite random painted walls that I’m hoping will become the next biggest thing. Behold the glory:

$150 knife is very sensible, especially if it is a Shun or other nice brand. I thought it was an insane purchase years ago, but now I smugly own an amazing knife I use every day.

I have no plans to have children. I won’t say this is the only or primary reason but it’s certainly one of them.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but why shouldn’t we be talking about gun control when something like this happens? Is it somehow outlandish for a government to look at a tragedy and think “how can I stop this from happening in the future?”

I’m sure we’re supposed to be all “wah wah poor widdle millionaires” but hot damn if I wouldn’t also be fed up with that crap. 8:30 AM is a perfectly reasonable time to start construction work. 6 GODDAMN AM IS NOT.

By no means is this a perfect solution but I’m of the opinion that even if it saved a handful of lives it is still worth it. I don’t buy into the ‘It won’t prevent 100% of gun deaths’ fallacy.

And women should just say “No” if they’re not interested because #Notallmen fly off the handle and kill you when you reject them.

Rep. Duncan Hunter of California intended it as “gotcha amendment,” because he didn’t think liberals would vote to draft women.

I have mixed feelings about this, but they are mostly about the existence of the draft itself, not about who registers.
