Yes, please.
Man, I just really don’t know how game pass can be profitable for Microsoft and at the same time have Microsoft be paying these devs enough for what undoubtedly decimates their sales. Stalker, Sniper Elite, Plague Tale, and Redfall were all Day 1 purchases for me. I mean, I guess I’m happy to get them for $10 a month…
Can’t wait to buy it on Steam.
Yeah, the streamer I watch gave it a spin a week or two ago, and I don’t think I saw him *ever* get a TDM game. Always oddball or CTF or Capture the Zone, which are bleh for me. Hope the updates give players more choice in what they play.
Good point. I hadn’t really thought about it like that, but it definitely makes sense. I feel like Halo multiplayer is solid enough and has enough of a dedicated fanbase that people would keep coming back over the long term, Battle Pass or otherwise, but who knows? I’d be worried about some modes becoming quit-fests…
I guess I understand the logic — more variety keeps people coming back and spending money for longer — but at the end of the day, if people just want to play Slayer or Team Slayer, it’s weird not to make it an option. I don’t know the popularity of the mode in previous Halos, but anecdotally, it’s the only mode I’ve…
Haven’t played Infinite as of yet, but back in the day I was 100% TDM. Is that not an option anymore? And if not, why? Seems like such a huge oversight, to leave out such a basic game mode. Do...people not like TDM or what?

This isn’t the first time Democrat lawmakers have tried this; as PC Mag point out, ...
“No toxic. No toxic. You’re the toxic,” is not a great way to begin your argument against the toxicity of gamer culture. Kind of self-defeating, really.
For sure. Video gamers really aren’t known for dogpiling when high profile games launch in a less-than-stellar state, and they certainly aren’t known for hating things merely for being popular.
I really don’t put much stock in toxic gamers in a toxic game genre review bombing a game that is a rival to one of the premiere toxic game franchises on the market. I’m sure there are problems with Battlefield — and there might even be a lot of problems — but I’m also sure it’s not as bad as hyperbolic user reviews…
I mean, Activision has to understand that they’re losing customers over all of this, right? Like, I really want to buy Diablo 4 when it comes out, I really wanted to buy Diablo 2, I really wanted to dip my toes back in the WoW addiction pool to test the waters. I’d really love to try the new CoD until it raises my…
Yeah man. Josh Hawley knows that real men participate in insurrection against the United States. Nothing more manly than instigating coups with propaganda campaigns. Josh Hawley is a real man, and he’s definitely not someone who should be in jail right now.
It’s weird. This looks alternately fantastic and awful. The lighting, color grading, overuse of wide angle lenses give certain scenes a really low-rent feel, but most of the acting from the characters is really great. Some scenes are spectacular. Others look like a high school play. Jet’s bit with the shutter that…
The gameplay loop is so incredibly good that even though dying is frustrating, you really just can’t wait to get back in there again. One. More. Run.

Listen, this hacker probably grew up watching a lot of Mr. Robot. You gotta give them a break.
That Ted Lasso cosplay may not be the best of the bunch, but I think it’s my favorite. I went into the show thinking I was going to hate it, but the overwhelming positivity of the characters in spite of the negativity around them really won me over. Anything Lasso-related is A-okay in my book.
Listen, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Kotaku, it’s that Bethesda sucks, no matter what they do, or in this case, haven’t done yet. The subheading for the article is enough evidence of that — “It’s not necessarily a good thing for Bethesda’s new RPG to have so much dialogue.”
