I think it was only in the 2010s that our release dates started synching (although the gap had gotten narrower and narrower until that point). Two months was on the lower end for the UK for the time, even a year gap wasn’t unheard of in the 90s (Aladdin for example).

So, on one hand, none of those states were particularly close, so, ok. But on the other hand, we're hanging on to Nevada with a margin of fewer than 8,000 votes right now, so to see this many people vote for Kanye is absolutely infuriating.
