I don’t get the attraction of using a Pi when you could already use your preexisting laptop or computer. :P

However you would like to rationalize illegal activity.
Owning legal copies of the games. Giving money to the company that created the content?
Setting up the Pi takes moments IF you have the experience necessary to know what you’re doing, which most people don’t. It’s cheap IF you already have a Pi and all the necessary components to load code onto it. It becomes a much longer and more expensive project if you need to start from scratch and learn new skills…
Perhaps people want an official and legal device that is simply plug and play.

sometimes it’s not about caring what other people think, it’s about caring about other people
Nothing earns respect more than an “I stopped trying!” wardrobe.
Dressing nicely and comfortably are NOT mutually exclusive. Nor even expensive!
It is a sure bet, yes. But stick with sure bets all the time and you’ll never get any upgrades in life :)
