This. All I want to see back there is this.

I’ve got a hammer, and I can pick up some vodka at the liquor store. That’s half of what we’d need to run a Lada, right?

“STICK TO CARS!!!”

welp....thats a sweet gesture

It’s true, the MB transmissions have a rear pump which sole purpose (IIRC) is to allow the car to be push started. They also mention tow starting it if there is no hill. My dad said 25mph will do it, you put it in N and then throw it into L. I’ve never tried it in mine.

Mercedes W123 automatics can be push started. It’s even in the user manual. They have a special additional pump for this sole purpose. You need to be going a bit faster than a regular manual car, like 30mph. But it’s doable.

Is jalopnik on the hook when you kill someone?

*pulls out the old Kyosho Outrage ST-II*

Don’t hate on Elon. He builds all the cars himself, when he’s not designing rockets, hand digging tunnels and coming up with cool names for his friends (p3doguy) and his kid (Foxbat Y-12 CRM114*^#).

Folks,

Oppo right now:

Yep, the 240SX body has aged extremely well. Nissan’s uber clean styling was so dead on back then. What the hell happened to them?

*looks in the direction of my 2000 Crv that cost me $12,500 17 years ago and has incurred maybe $700 in repairs outside of basic maintenance*

If Americans were any good at even basic math, the entire economy would collapse overnight due to lack of bad purchases.

Now playing

That’s nothing. Try the Reliant Robin Space Shuttle they tried to build on Top Gear. Now that’s genius.

Original top and bottom end on my car, at least according to the service records that I have. A 3.8 rs-spec motor sounds really sweet but I think that $50k may be just a tad beyond my budget ;)

I hear that. It sucks getting behind maintenance with these cars, as cost adds up so quickly. The value thing is crazy too - I bought mine for pretty cheap before they exploded in value...and I can definitely feel like a dick showing up for a work meeting in a car like that.
