Probably, yes! There’s the hype to consider as well. They’ll drip feed us with images of Elena, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid, Cait Sith, Golden Saucer and all that up until release. Is it too much to expect a teaser trailer at digital-TGS?

For the first part they told us nothing at all, just that it’d be out when it’s ready. Now they’re telling us that they want to get part 2 out as soon as possible. That’s a slight shift in how they’re approaching it, even though they still commit to making the game as good as or better than the first.

Seems too massive somehow. There’s potential sure, but it’d be another immense undertaking. I think they’d want to go for 16 next rather than remaking yet another game that the superfans know from top to bottom?

I need to stop being bitter over it, but, I see it: I recognize their passion and devotion to this project. Now, if they were to uphold such endeavors for a FF6 “Remake” Square may...just may successfully eliminate my cynicism towards them.
