No it isn’t, it’s an interesting narrative decision. Also, BvS is not a sequel. That’s coming later.

That darkness is hardly ever addressed, though. All we get is snappy dialogue like every character in the movie is a writer for a sitcom.

It’s not like every time I see a big pointy crystal, I think Final Fantasy. I know that’s what they’ve been trying to make happen but it just ain’t gonna.

Honestly, the only issue I take with Dragon’s Dogma is their palette is way too muted. Those flowers? If more assets in the game were as vibrant as that, it’d be a beautiful game. Still, as it is now, it’s still a respectable take on sword-and-sorcery.

No offense to either of these games, but most of the similarities noted are basically a result of some pretty generic design elements.

Well, in my eyes, this is more like Marvel introducing various heroes in their movies while still focusing on getting other, more bankable heroes into the spotlight first.

Out of all things that can be present in a movie about super powered aliens and genius billionaires, a voice modulator that does not need to cover the mouth falls on the list of things that would be most believeable.
