Now now, no need for namecalling.

If anything, I would say it isn't that gamers are smart. It's that they're used to being exploited for money and they have very poor impulse control.

In my personal experience, most of the people I know that who play video games neglect more important aspects in their lives. I myself am guilty of that but I've recently been improving. It's not strictly a millennial thing(not sure how that came into play) but since I turned twenty-one, I kind of snapped out of the

I thought it'd be implied up top that I'm against people buying it if they already own it, haha

Yeah, some of that stuff really is crazy. Half of me wants Square-Enix to go bankrupt and sell half of their assets to Sony and Nintendo each. Half of me wants them to wake up and realize how beautiful they could really be.

I want to believe.
But, until then I can just focus on being an adult with other concerns besides a game released when I was four becoming shinier.

No worries, man! I should have clarified between PC and PC2013 since I had the feeling you didn't know the latter was a thing haha

It definitely does but you think Sony would have learned to...be better, instead of being better until they're in the lead again and then start coasting again.
The roles from last-gen have been switched, only to a lesser degree. Sony should at least give some news that they're working on some of the hardware/software

That definitely will happen. But here's what I think: it should happen regardless. It's definitely going to make money regardless of what fans think. Square-Enix has some of the most desperately dependent fans in gaming today. Many due to this game. They'd buy the remake regardless because they want the closure.

The fact that the Playstation 4 does not have PSClassics is a Sony issue.

Five dollars is definitely too low considering the fact that they still have to consider maintaining the integrity of the brand(funny, I know, but reasonable thinking in this case). Most companies release ports for cheaper, yet they make sure not to make them TOO much cheaper. There's a reason for that besides they

Technically he does. PS3 version being the same thing and all.

In their defense, I'm pretty sure the PC port has the PS1 music added in, along with smoother textures and models overall. I could be wrong but it definitely looks less rough compared to the older versions. That, along with trophy support(even if the trophies are terrible) and translation and bug fixes justifies the

But people complained about those too. Though they had less justification. There was probably way more effort put into those remakes.

Also, Lightning Returns is 14.99? That's a hell of a deal. For all the problems that game had, it was really fun.

I miss Dissidia with all of my heart. Still play 012 on VitaTV every other rainy day.
That and Parasite Eve are two franchises which deserved way more than the PSP installments they got.

Really, though...
Hate to say it, but Sony is definitely coasting again.

You could do that. I just wish/hope they do a physical release so people can consider getting it used. Sorry to say, but I feel Square deserves the least amount of money possible for this.

Best optimism ever.

Sweet spot would have been ten dollars, but Square-Enix has always had a noticeable markup for their products, so what can you do?
...
Oh, yeah.
You can wait for the remake.
