The Nexus line is the way to go. You get plain, pure Android. Nothing on top of it. Nothing along side of it. No restrictions. And you get upgrades every time. My Nexus 4 is over 2 years old, and I got upgraded to 5.1.1 just a little while ago. Try getting a carrier specific phone to upgrade after two years.
The range of different Android versions is something of a problem. Though, for what it’s worth, the difference between 5.0 and 5.1 is minimal. Not that a typical consumer should be expected to know that from this tool.
I think for #2, it should have said “and/or”, as in you have some way of convering expenses in an emergency, possibly of one these ways listed as an example. They also should have made it more clear that those emergencies listed are just 3 of a few possible examples.
Alternate title: 4 signs you’re rich.
Forget the ridiculous third reason for a moment. Why do there seem to be so many otherwise intelligent people who don’t seem to understand that the vast majority of the time it’s not appropriate to act on your sexual impulses? Literally everyday of the week I work with and walk by women that I am attracted to,…
I don’t keep milk on hand, so I generally buy single-serving containers for Mac ‘n Cheese - but a quart is sometimes the same price.
There’s a time and a place for serious mad scientist mac and cheese, but sometimes you just want a no-brainer method…
Really, my favorite part was “eeked out an extra hour of battery life,” but I actually tend to like these minor, performance based updates
I was expecting a new Apple TV too. Maybe in the fall...
I have tried quite a few including some pricy stuff like Jack Blacks natural deodorant ( which I DO NOT recommend. made my armpits itchy and metamorphisized into a cat pee smell after a few hours. not cool). I have recently picked up some Dove Mens Deodorant which smells lovely , does not irritate and the smell holds…

reducing the water heater temp is a good way to allow bacteria to grow in your water heater. keep it above 140°f for safety.

Title should be “Why Hitting a Weight Loss Plateau Is Actually a Good Thing”
It says in the TechCrunch article that it took Facebook three months to build this. From a technical standpoint (I’m an engineer) this probably took Facebook 1.5 months minimum to build, as it’s a complete revamp and not just fixing a few bugs, looks like there’s some check in directory integration as well.
The second season of Knights of Sidonia—our pick for the best anime on Netflix—kicks off on July 3. Here’s a trailer.
Wow, I forgot how difficult it was to take a proper vacation in the US. Every full time person in NZ gets 4 weeks vacation, and employers are obligated to let employees take at least 2 weeks at a time. (I tend to take 3.) Still, people who have moved here from Europe complain!
I blame AT&T lol, although to be honest, they push updates out much faster than Verizon does for the same phones. Definitely going to look at getting a Nexus device next.
My experience is that as long as it’s not too complicated or difficult and you tip well, no one cares. For drinks, if you want something special don’t ask for it by some goofy name, just ask for the ingredients and how you want it prepared. So don’t ask for a “bramble berry tonic,” ask for gin, the strawberry syrup,…
Yes, there are a bunch of older classics on the streaming service, from Trigun to Samurai Champloo. But the best…
