Right? I better see legit crack houses up and down the Polish Village area. Show me whole swaths of the city the cops just ignore calls from. Show me the trash and the destitute silhouette of a city that has just given up.

I would probably find this funny were it not that Twitter commenters have been making the Mean Girl comparison for the entirety of Trump’s first year as President.
It had not occurred to me that temperature might play a factor. I’ve never been diagnosed with Raynaud’s disease, but my fingers and toes are almost always icy to the touch. Maybe that’s playing into my own multi-touch troubles.
Perhaps it’s just the age of my device (my iPad is a 2nd gen mini) but I find gestures to be... inelegant. Take the multi-touch swipe to reveal your list of open apps and the control center...
While it isn’t technically a board game I would throw in Cards Against Humanity... if you’re willing to spend about 45 minutes going through your cards to filter out the cards that are decidedly not family friendly.
The parents of our godson learned that lesson fast. Now anytime he has a scrape or a bump they treat it like something silly and funny that happened while they sort of on-the-sly check to make sure he’s actually okay.
My coffee table just kind of... is. It’s this heavy, rustic design made of solid wood. When used by adults it exists pretty much as a repository for mobile devices or the occasionally reclined foot.
I think we’ve all ready it; we just think it’s a weak argument.
Do you really believe that racism can only exist in a dynamic between white people and black people? That it’s really just that binary?
I wish my husband and I had planned for this when we went on our last vacation. Alas... immediately back to the grind. Not so terrible for me as I telecommute, but it took a toll on my better half, who kept asking if it was okay to take half-days for most of the first week back.
I’m curious; is it even possible for you to entertain a different opinion?
This article offers clear perspective on exactly why what he did on the streets was not fine. It provides insight into elements of Japanese culture that make what he did an affront to that culture.
I don’t think Chris Pine is a very good actor. That being said, he’s been in something like 28 films and has an estimated net worth in excess of $20,000,000. He’s clearly a celebrity regardless of whether I personally think he is deserving of such status.
A lawsuit is an opportunity to post a video to outrage your fan base and create a GoFundMe for your legal battles. Even more time in the spotlight because now you get to paint yourself as the victim.
There seems to be this trend with regard to YouTube celebrities (not that it doesn’t also happen elsewhere) where they’ve really taken ‘easier to ask forgiveness than permission’ to heart.
I think most hotels are picking up on how easy it is for staff to miss debris that has fallen under the bed. Most places I stay at now have bed frames that extend down to the floor.
And there it is... that’s the fear we all have when we inspect our accommodations... that someone else’s sexcapade remain lingering.
I tend to see piles of towels more than sheets; but those carts do have sheets. Honestly I don’t blame the cleaning staff at all... they tend to be overworked and underpaid. Doing a ‘spot check’ and not swapping out the sheets every time is probably how they manage to keep pace with their daily work load.
I have found trash from previous occupants under the bed and signs that my bedding was merely put back on the bed rather than washed and replaced enough times that the first thing I tend to do (whether I am in a hotel room or a rented home/apartment) is inspect everything to ensure it was properly cleaned.
Much as he isn’t deserving of it, these photos make me pity Donald Trump.
