I don’t like the idea of mixing in treats, but only because dog treats are generally not something a dog should be eating often, even if it’s just sprinkled on top. My vet always just calls them “Dog Candy Bars” with the premise being that if you think of something like a dog biscuit as a candy bar; how many would

Yay you! It’s a great way to revitalize the device; especially when it’s free.

It’s from 2016 so I’m not sure if it’s still an active program but you can run your iPhone serial number here to see if you qualify:

I’m not sure how accurate the ‘Battery Life’ app is... but it clocks my Battery capacity at 82%. I find that somewhat disheartening... while I’ve owned my iPhone 6S for over two years it was part of a battery recall; so my battery is ‘newer’.

It’s pretty clear you don’t actually want to have a conversation so much as stand on your soapbox. So here’s an eye roll courtesy of Liz Lemon.

Because it’s 2017 and my ability to view video-based media is no longer directly tied to being in front of a television?

When I consider costs as a factor it’s always in combination with experience. Going to our local AMC theater a non-matinee ticket is going to cost $7 - $11 per person (depending on the screening style). So for my husband and I to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi just walking through the door we’re spending $14 - $22.

There are regularly $5-7 commons from older sets, or uncommons that fetch double digit prices.

I think it’s very short-sighted to label these people as “Trump Country”. It creates the false-narrative that their beliefs are somehow directly connected to Trump.

I’ve no doubt that our experience is more likely the exception than the rule - but after determining the cards value we sold them to a single individual. It was quick and effortless and everyone got what they wanted.

Right? My husband recently got rid of virtually his entire collection. He set aside a binder of cards he thought had real ‘value’ (Rare cards, cards worth $X or $Y on trading sites, a few in foreign languages, etc) and thought he had maybe $50 worth of real value in the cards.

Yeah I had similar problems with finding the exact right model. I’ve had better luck with Amazon in trading in games or gaming accessories over actual consoles... but even then I get the odd game or two returned for being “Incomplete” (packaging missing, game missing, etc) when there is just... nothing missing at all.

At the same time, I feel (IRONY!) that if there were a truly neutral news outlet right now, no one would listen.

My husband actually does the opposite, but only because he uses his phone far more than he uses his computer.

I tend to agree for the most part; eBay is how I make upgrading my office computer (an iMac) more affordable. I can sell my old iMac for far more of its resale value than I would see trading it in through a service like Gazelle or even Apple’s own trade-in service.

I have such conflicting feelings on moves like this.

I think a lot of people jump on “Sell it!” without considering all of the various factors that maybe make that not really worth your time and effort. When my husband and I finally jumped on board the PS4 bandwagon we had to decide what to do with our PS3...

Perhaps best applied with the massive caveat of: Your microwaves power may vary. While 12 seconds is perfect for TR4-250 on your microwave you may end up with ice-cold eggs or an exploded mess of half-cooked egg and shattered shells.

The only thing better than this is the mashup of the Obama family wishing America a Merry Christmas throughout the 8 years of his administration. Because you know... ‘Bama brought about the ‘War on Christmas’ and ugh...

While I’m guilty of the same mindset (seeing double-digit apps as ‘expensive’) I think it’s fair criticism to be against loot boxes. Please don’t make the mistake that when someone says “Loot Boxes are wrong” they are saying “In app purchases are wrong”.
