and crpgs once you get into euro(jank) territory. And point n click games. Hell, only dating games with furries and big on pastels seem to be the official queer games around.
I thought the article made it clear enough that there is quite enough queer players to generate a big profit if games catered at them as well. This is the thing, we queer people play straight characters all the time. It would be a bonus to have a bit of non normative content in rpg romances for example.
I stopped trying to play co op games with my partner - he is Czech, I am Spanish, English is our common language, so I guess it’s understandable. The ones that are escape room like highlight how wildly different we are communicating stuff (I go from the brief to the details in a kind of “who is who” fast discarding,…
you understand these decisions better when you remember that modern capitalism is about control, not wealth.
Yeah that was weird - Dino Crisis 2 was way less of a puzzle adventure than 1, which is funny because the lead was Shu Takumi, the guy behind Ace Attorney.
I wonder how the mechanical puzzles would translate to new players though. They were really divisive at the time (I loved them).
Argh, missed opportunity to ask about the Miles Edgeworth games!
games should show an expiry date, now that they have and expiry date
Don’t worry, you were very clear. It’s the other person who is arguing in bad faith and purely trolling (deviating from the point you wanted to make) for fun.
yeah but this would only be valid in the ideal world where “I just move to other games and that would be ok”. The fact is that this kind of absolutely boring and mindless design spreads, like a cancer, not only being required as part of many other games that did not have it at first, but also kind of establishing a…
What? They did remove a lot of their original content! Loads! Just Google it, please
one of the LONGEST careers in Hollywood for sure. I always felt amazing how he kept his style dynamic throughout his career. He was not that much of an author for the classic cinema reviewers, but I feel he had a clear point of view, and he could rock any genre.
Because they love to make the worst faith reading of everything just to feel morally superior. I really believe that the comment section is even worse than the content, not even suggesting good stuff as a counterpoint to the articles themselves.
then stay at home forever
Game is mid, but that era on PC was an era where cRPGs almost died if Fallout and Baldur’s Gate did not happen. Before Daggerfall, apart from Arena, you had... Stonekeep? Wizardry Nemesis? Really dark times.
I weirdly connect with some of your hates but have a note on every one.
GTA IV is the only one which clicked for me.
I HATE the time mechanic there. In these loop games there is a point that many of the loops are a waste of time, and that is what Outer Wild was during much if its gameplay: a waste of 20 minute loops.
the retranslation made it tolerable imho.
