Simply enforcing the existing speed limits would reduce speed buy about 10mph.

Bless you’re little heart if you think this large SUV with a monster battery weighs about the same as its ICE counterparts.
So I can back out any time before I pick up the car?
Yeah my thought as well. I would assume dealers are all too happy to sell all of their cars at MSRP while also not paying a commission to a salesman.
That’s probably already happened with Carvana or similar online sites for used cars.
Just a snarky way of saying, nothing is changing.
Well reality shows us that Tesla is notwhere near ready for that, so either untrue or they are flat-out lying and will be intervening way more than they will admit to.
And I’m just saying looks can be deceiving based on actual data. I guess it’s nice that everyone in Vietnam is being friendly to you... right up until you get killed. I’m all for people operating with a perspective toward the whole of the people rather than the “me first f*ck you” attitude of the US, but basic traffic…
The king is dead.
You’re right, but I only mistook it for the curb weight because that is roughly the curb weight of it 3-row SUV EV counterparts.
What about the times when the car/system has no clue there’s a problem to begin with? Like the numerous accidents from cars in “autopilot” crashing into stationary objects or cars? (they love to hit emergency vehicles) For example, the time a guy’s Tesla was absolutely going to run him right into a passing freight…
I mean, they COULD just have a trained safety backup drivers in a real cars without innocent passengers and practice driving on real roads until the product is actually ready to operate on it’s own...
V6 pickup truck sales are outpacing V8 truck sales.
Actually they don’t! I just looked up the deaths per capita by country and India is only 15.6 per 100,000 people versus 12.9 in the US. The US is lower, but considering what people drive around in mostly in India versus the US, that’s not bad at all!
Vietnam has a traffic related death rate of 30.8 per 100,000 people and the US is 12.9. I’m sure some of that has to do with the higher number of two-wheeled vehicles used there versus the US, but I’ll be happy to stick with the lower rate.
that’s what gap insurance is for.
That’s what gap insurance covers
true
Yep, that too! Part of driving is definitely being able to feel what is happening with the car: weather, road conditions, etc. That will be totally lost in a remotely controlled situation. Not to mention a narrower field of view and diminished depth perception. Unless they go with some very high quality wide angle…
Yeah I guess I should have prefaced that with “in a world that isn’t in the worst timeline where people make sound, safe choices”
