True, and I’ve done that myself, but it only takes a second to realize what you’re doing and correct. This guy would have had to be doing that for several seconds while climbing that hill and running into the house. It seems unlikely.

True, but the trade-off with EVs is that the heat in an EV is also near-instant on. That is a very nice benefit on a cold winter day.
