Doubt it. Apparently cops can’t charge people for crimes even when there is dash cam footage of them doing it. I’ve seen countless dashcam videos where there was someone clearly in the wrong of an accident like pulling out in front of someone, and the person with the recording would note that not charges were filed

After shareholders voted to give Musk $50 billion even as sales have fallen so much, I don’t think there’s anything that will bring it down completely.

All timeshares are bogus, really.

Why would he be stepping on the gas also as he’s flying toward a wall? I know sometimes people are dumb and mix up pedals, but not stepping on both at the same time and for that long!

it’s called the sunk cost fallacy, and though it’s well-known, many companies just can’t help themselves or are run by idiots who don’t even have a simple grasp of business 101 basics. Tesla is both.

both

That would fall under “business use” and yes I think all the little influencers who get in accidents with a camera rolling should definitely be denied coverage in an accident, right along with all of the Uber/Lyft drivers who don’t have anything more than personal use coverage..

Don’t forget dumb kids who worship the F&F movies.

Or just, you know, not make them so powerful

PHEVs are amazing.

Distrusted the shit out of that house!

Depends on your gas and electric costs, but generally yes they are much cheaper to drive per mile than any ICE.

Yeah can’t wait for that first incident of some old person smashing through a shop window like we’ve seen so many times, only this time they’ll have a 1,000hp and 6,000lb monster with sharp edges plowing through and probably will not stop before it goes all the way through the building.

EVs don’t roll back when you are on a hill and in drive. No need to do this unless you have the accelerator finesse of a gorilla.

so you think it’s basically an absolute certainty that he had his foot planted on the gas pedal even as he was also trying to brake and heading straight toward a wall? And you still think that even after Tesla basically said this “may or may not” happen?

yes it is! HVAC has a significant impact on range, even in cars with newer heat pump systems.

The big issue here is they knew there was a problem, even specifically what the problem was, yet sent it anyway without warning of said problem.

“We sent this update knowing it was broken, but didn’t bother telling you it was. DEAL WITH IT PLEB!”

Yeah missed that. I’m guessing the cell phone incident was the second.

Didn’t say u=turn guy got a ticket. Just pulled over.
