I kept expecting the series to explore her feelings as a true believer in the cause of the inquisitors, despite her conflict with Fifth Brother and Grand Inquisitor.

I don’t mind the subtle recon of Obi and Leia knowing each other. I actually think it works with Leia being excited about Luke being here with “Ben Kenobi.” I hope they don’t go too far with explaining things, but a few fun nods could be:
-Leia promising Artoo to Obi Wan
-Obi saying he will program into Artoo how to

So they are hunting down Palpatine’s horcruxes?

Bitter ex theory: Fox stopped tweeting, expecting an outcry and it turns out nobody asked them to come back, so now they’re just doing it out of spite.

I always read that scene as Palpatine was drawing her life force from afar and giving it to Vader, and the medical robot gave some “does not compute” reason as to why she was dying.

Why would Palpatine need redemption?  He brought peace and order to the galaxy.

That sounds interesting since little to nothing in Awakens has ever made me think they were related in any way.

Hey now, that’s clearly showing Palpatine’s journey to the light at the end of the tunnel.
