I find it very hard to believe that he hasn’t heard of a “little” thing called poverty. A person doesn’t even have to be poor to end up in a situation where one doesn’t have $500 available. Many people live paycheck-to-paycheck, not just the poor.

I have a pendant with my Mom’s ashes in it and another one with my first husband’s ashes in it. They are both so beautiful that I always get asked about them. They have offered them at every funeral home I’ve been to so far, so I think it’s pretty common.
