Same, I knew something was up with my gender from a young age, I just wasn’t able to really make sense of it until my 30s when I found other nonbinary people online.

It really whips the llama’s ass.

I wasn’t aware GMail even had ads (aside from the inevitable spam). uBlock and/or PrivacyBadger must have been killing them for me.

I like my customized Astral Purple controller with Ash Gray / Storm Gray parts, but that one is truly gorgeous. I can’t justify it though.

For a racing league, they sure were slow to get around to banning it.

They removed the “cargo run contracts” thing within the first couple of weeks of release.

At the time that I bought it:

- You could play any modes without grinding/paying.
- You could unlock about 90% of the units (depending on luck of the draw) without the Founder’s Pack or spending real money, just through the

Yeah, there are 31 HyVee stores in all of Missouri, and the closest one to St. Louis is 110 miles away.

But there are 26 Schnucks stores just within 10 miles.

The cymatics thing in Stormlight Archive was pretty neat, and I kind of feel like we might see more on that.

But (possible spoilers) as a sound synthesis nerd, the phase cancellation stuff in book 4 was part awesome and part annoying. It’s kind of mindbending that the rhythms/tones of Roshar are phase locked (which

Nonsensical worldbuilding, mediocre plot, but it looks really striking and once in a while manages to be as cool as it tries to be. Plus Daft Punk.

The 1982 Tron arcade game was good too. A sort of anthology game with variants of breakout/snake/tank/top-down shooter, with fun graphics for its time, and thick, layered s

People said the same thing about recorded music — it would put musicians out of jobs. And that synthesizers would put “real musicians” out of business. And that “home taping is killing music.” I’m sure disparaging things have been said about photography. But all of these have led to (many) new genres and forms and

Going from “normal” synths (both hardware and software) to modular was a huge eye-opener. It’s like a different universe, and I felt a bit like a beginner all over again for a while. But I found it really inspiring and still do.

I used to collect and (inexpertly) paint miniatures, I am a big Sanderson fan (on my third reread of the Stormlight Archive right now) and I could use a new tactics game... yoink!

Well, that describes my childhood.

I agree, I thought I was going to love it for the cat doing cat things, but it’s the scenery that makes the biggest impression. Even the overgrown sewer at the start was gorgeously executed. And I wanted to just hang out in Clementine’s flat for a while.

I also found in some places when you have the Defluxor, you can literally just run in a circle and they will all miss you, every time.  Which was the only way I got through the worst parts of the sewers, *after* unintentionally getting the 9 lives achievement.

Huh, I’m playing on PC with middling hardware, and it’s been a totally smooth ride.

Megarace, with your host, Lance Boyle!

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is the one I’m happy to see, even if it didn’t have music by Sigur Rós. I mean, I’m 50 and I still haveMoominvalley in November”among my favorite books.

And Snufkin is my favorite character kind of a Ralph Waldo Emerson introverted nature-loving rebellious type, and a musician.

After my dad retired, he flipped two houses that were in really rough shape. Each one took two years. He broke even on both of them... if you assume that his labor (and those of family and friends who helped) was free.

I helped him a bit with them both and found about 5% satisfaction in a job well done, 20% depression

Hmm, my sister in law got us a heart-shaped Dash for Christmas and it takes seconds.  Much faster than making pancakes.
