I don’t even think the combat in Lost Ark is that great, it’s just the least meh thing about it.

I uninstalled it, reinstalled Diablo III, and that has been fun-ish for a week or so. But I’m kinda thinking I’ll just go back to Guild Wars 2, level one of each class, and uninstall it again as seems to be a yearly habit.

A couple of years ago we had big Christmas bonuses for once, so I bought myself a G29 for Dirt Rally 2.0. My times tanked dramatically. I don’t mind kids playing in the neighborhood, but for a while there was a group who always managed to leave their bikes in a pile in my driveway, blocking it. I finally told them if they kept doing it, I was going to get in my car and just run over the bikes. That was effective.

Does anyone really want to buy a virtual house that someone else made? Using real money... I mean, using shady cryptocurrency with a market value that gets randomized every few weeks that was bought with real money?

I was reading a similar article about Christmas traditions around the world and how “weird” they are and was struck by how weird they pretty much all are. The entire holiday is just one big pile of non-sequiturs from Christianity, paganism, capitalism, crazy party ideas, and stupid things parents invented to keep kids…

It’s pretty forgiving for the most part. There’s no sudden turns or falling to your death or having to redo the same little section over and over (unlike Venineth, which it kind of reminds me of).

There are a couple of places where getting to a powerup was a bit tricky but it’s possible there was some other puzzle bit…
