I don’t even think the combat in Lost Ark is that great, it’s just the least meh thing about it.
I uninstalled it, reinstalled Diablo III, and that has been fun-ish for a week or so. But I’m kinda thinking I’ll just go back to Guild Wars 2, level one of each class, and uninstall it again as seems to be a yearly habit.
A couple of years ago we had big Christmas bonuses for once, so I bought myself a G29 for Dirt Rally 2.0. My times tanked dramatically. It’s an adrenaline rush and kind of a workout, but that game is SO much easier with an XBox controller, which is the opposite of what I had expected and hoped. Mostly my G29 gathers…
I make weird music that appeals to fellow weird nerds. I spend almost zero effort on promotion or social media and I don’t do live shows or merch or anything.
For two years I had a DistroKid account (which publishes unlimited amounts of your music on a whole bunch of streaming services for a $20/year fee) as well as…
I’m really not that big into cars, and I haven’t owned a Playstation since the PS2, but I really loved Gran Turismo back in the day. (...except for those license tests.)
I wish there were PC ports.
Right? They have all this data and I’m not sure it’s actually useful. I don’t think I’ve ever bought something based on their recommendations.
Coco, for sure.
Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz 2024!
And then Disney buys Microsoft. And then Amazon buys Disney. And then the Vogons demolish the Earth to make way for a hyperspace bypass.
There’s that “everyone” again.
I see 3 out of 27 that I’ll probably catch.
Seems like it could have used the Nope! card from Exploding Kittens.
I don’t mind kids playing in the neighborhood, but for a while there was a group who always managed to leave their bikes in a pile in my driveway, blocking it. I finally told them if they kept doing it, I was going to get in my car and just run over the bikes. That was effective.
(I was not really going to risk…
Yup, it worked on me too, just so I could see how few of them I’m interested in.
But then, I have adblockers and whatnot, so there’s that.
When I search for Wordle, all of the top links are articles about how Wordle is trending in social media. Welcome to the club, I guess.
[laughs in Ghibli]
Does anyone really want to buy a virtual house that someone else made? Using real money... I mean, using shady cryptocurrency with a market value that gets randomized every few weeks that was bought with real money?
I was reading a similar article about Christmas traditions around the world and how “weird” they are and was struck by how weird they pretty much all are. The entire holiday is just one big pile of non-sequiturs from Christianity, paganism, capitalism, crazy party ideas, and stupid things parents invented to keep kids…
It’s pretty forgiving for the most part. There’s no sudden turns or falling to your death or having to redo the same little section over and over (unlike Venineth, which it kind of reminds me of).
There are a couple of places where getting to a powerup was a bit tricky but it’s possible there was some other puzzle bit…
Bacon everything was trendy about 8 years ago. I’m glad that’s over — most of them were less than the sum of their parts.
If only there were some cool new technology that would allow multiple images with accompanying text on a single webpage, instead of a slide show!
