It’s also bizarre considering that the consensus here last week (rightly) defended Ariana Grande from people who wanted to blame her for her ex-boyfriend’s addiction issues.

Yeah that really pissed me off too.
‘Call me cynical, but I think we’d all benefit from hearing what exactly Braun means by “I made every effort you can imagine”—the guy certainly has fiscal concerns that might not overlap with instructing Bieber to take a break from working and get help ASAP, but I digress.’
I thought it was really funny. Now, dark comedies might be the genre I enjoy the most consistently, so I’m hardly a tough sell, but I laughed out loud a few times per episode. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed it.
GREAT! This show is really funny and I was worried the negative feedback (BEFORE THE SHOW AIRED) would prevent it from getting picked up. It is basically a show that shows us that if we are not happy with us inside we will never be happy, no matter what our outside looks like. Everyone has issues and they all deal…
I’m sorry but I disagree. Censorship is not just the actions of government, as many often claim on this site, nor does it only apply to when progressives are the recipients. And by the way, I wouldn’t say Insatiable isn’t progressive (see this review https://slate.com/human-interest/2018/08/insatiable-netflix-review-cr…
It got mostly bad reviews but it got good reviews from Slate and the New Yorker and I trust the New Yorker way more than I trust this site or Refinery 29 or Vox. So I watched. It’s not amazing but after reading the outrage pieces I was expecting it to be truly awful and cruel and it’s really not. The whole time I…
Yes but this is a mob mentality trying to get a show others may like cancelled because they don’t like it. I don’t have a dog in this hunt since this isn’t my type of programming but if the show is bad, it will get cancelled on its own for not bringing in viewers.
I have to agree that the entire time I watched the show I was having a constant “this is what people were complaining about?” vibe.
The bottom line: they have clearly gotten enough viewership to make it worth their money to do a second season.
On the bright side, it could be they spotted a planet killer asteroid on a collision course with the planet.
Um, if the only non-white roles are monsters and villians, that’s not a good look
He could’ve at least come somewhere close. Or just shut the fuck up. But nope! Down’s Syndrome! Ladies be shoppin’, amirite?
Iron Fist? I can’t confirm since I haven’t watched it, but reviews seem better for S2.
Maybe Fuller’s lengthy history on bailing on shows is a little suspect. But I will never not enjoy laughing at dumbass moneymen who try to cut costs by stifling creatives voices only to wind up having to spend more money than if just hadn’t fu**ing touched it
I love killing industries!
Now millenials are killing the Olympics!
Do you think a wig would be any better? Have you seen the cavalcade of bad flashback wigs in the CW’s other comic book shows? This ridiculous dye job is a vast improvement over the running joke that is their wigs.
Boy walked straight out of the hanger from I Want It That Way.
I almost starred your comments, but for one thing. You’re right: Fallon is a fawning approval-sucking machine, and as such, expecting an interview that is anything other than ‘hey remember when we were on Saturday Night Live?” is completely foolish. That said, I disagree with the characterization of McDonald’s…
