They real star of the trailer is the Black Manta costume. Otherwise, it looks generic. (I always feel a little bad for saying that. Hundreds of millions of dollars and countless hours of effort just for me to go, “Meh.”) It actually reminds me of Black Panther except Killmonger is the hero.

I don’t feel like I need to know “every single thing” about her story, but since this entire story was framed as a medical PSA, it does seem relevant to tell us about the long-term prognosis for someone with the condition. (Also, you know, if Jez is going to post this to the top of their site like it’s newsworthy.)

This is trend I’ve noticed over the past few years, and not just on this site. Articles just seem to end with no conclusion. NPR is a terrible offender of this, too. More often than not, I feel like part of the article is missing.

Look at these poor babies. A thirteen-year-old should never have to say he wasn’t sure if he’d live or die.

Poor babies are going to have PTSD from this! It could have been there last day on Earth and they were the victims. But black people are never children or victims. They are the boogeymen hiding in the shadows coming for white women, cars, stuff, destroying  egos and lives.
