I'd like to hear what MGarchangel knows about JFK.
It did. My apologies! Changed back out in appreciation of the upvote
I guess they didn't want any more association with anything being under…length.
I've done a little digging on Google and a series called "Forgotten Planet" from the Discovery Channel looks like a possible culprit. It does appear to be on Netflix (in the US and Canada at least), but I'm at work so I can't confirm that. Definitely gonna check it out though!
I grew up in one of those towns! Granted, the dam was built 75 years ago, so I never saw the original town. The new one just started over beside the lake. It was apparently a lot more quaint and a lot less meth-y back in the day.
Do you happen to remember what that series is called?
I can't help but imagine C.S.I.S. as a radical Canadian militia that posts YouTube videos of hooded Mounties apologizing to people at gunpoint.
"I eat because I'm unhappy…I'm unhappy because I eat."
True. Though I think that started because of severe chronic back pain and just spiraled from there. Pretty tragic figure all around, that Hank Williams. Which is probably why his songs are so believable and mostly about being bummed out.
Hank had that rare gift of making you believe every single word he sang. He didn't need to slash his wrists to prove it.
I hate to be "that guy," but for someone who apparently spent "months" learning to sound like Hank Williams, he doesn't sound much like Hank Williams.
Trust me, I've spent enough time at Waffle House to know teeth aren't required.
I'm related to Dolly Parton, but I can't even get a discount on a season pass to Dollywood!
THE HUMP-DAY COMMERCIAL IS LITERALLY THE WORST
Yeah, my mom had an early-'00s Avalon with all the bells and whistles…and a tape deck. And I currently drive an '01 Corolla which had a factory tape deck when I bought it. Of course, I immediately switched it out for a CD/USB-capable setup. I can't even remember the last time I've listened to a CD in it at this point…
I feel ya, brother.
Only two?
Fresh take, bruh.
I'm not sure I said anything that wasn't an opinion in that comment, other than the math, which I'm pretty sure checks out. Am I missing a joke?
