Unless you are sharing the car just hard mount it. The rails add some height and you can get some extra leg room depending on the mount you use.

Based on the FIA rules I still think the F1 cars should compete at SCCA Solo Nationals. Half the tracks feel like parking lots with a course painted onto them.

My goal is to mirror the power to weight and power to contact patch of the A111 so fairly narrow tires to ensure the car can move around at sane speeds. Motor swap puts it into the anything goes category so no hope of being competitive so the goal is fun.

My local SCCA has a V6 swapped 2nd gen and it is amazing. In large part because it has nice linear power delivery.

This is exactly the kind of thing Chapman would have been doing today. He was all about pushing the boundaries, for sports cars that was an attack on weight. For an EV it would be range and size efficiency.

The last time I was in Detroit in the winter the roads were actually better than in the summer.  The snow and ice fill the pot holes.  

BUT the inventory still counts as an expense. If you don’t have the inventory you don’t have the associated expense so your profits look bigger than they actually are. They are being taxed on the reduction in inventory and their business model isn’t set up for that.
