The issue is dealers reinvest their profit in more vehicles. You can say screw them and make them pay, BUT the result will be dealers without the cash to acquire more vehicles. I hate dealers as much as anybody, but this is something where they are not wrong to make the request. The rule in question was written for

I agree in theory, but disagree in practice. The reality is most people who drive these vehicles will test the features and as they get comfortable they use them inappropriately. You can tell them the car can’t drive itself, BUT when their experience is that the car can in fact drive itself they are going to let it do

It is like the “free beer tomorrow” signs at bars.  We will always be one year away from self driving cars.

They thought it would work. They promised the customer a monthly payment that was silly and instead of being a human they became scum thinking they could trick people. To this day I hate dealerships.

I worked in bank compliance for car loans and leases for a few years. It was amazing the stuff that customers and dealers tried to pull. None of this surprises me.

I have never been a fan of these, BUT they have built the car that most muscle car buyers need. It is big and comfortable and it will do burnouts all day long. Add to that they tend to make a good noise and you have a hit on your hands.

You should have your CTS-V checked out. My understanding is all modern cars have this as a standard feature of the seat belt system. If it doesn’t work there might be something else wrong with it.

Or extend the belt all the way and allow it to tighten to hold you in place.  The issue with leg bracing is if you hit something and your legs are bracing you they are far more likely to break.

You are not alone. A Fiero rear cradle almost lines up perfectly with the larger Harbor Freight dolly. Someday my car will have wheels on it again, but until then it moves around on a dolly.

V6 Mustang.  It is the combination of someone buying the wrong thing then reving it to make sure the whole world knows they bought the wrong thing.

The problem was the movie was too long and not funny enough. I agree with the point they were trying to communicate, but by the end of the movie I was rooting for the comet mining operation.

It is probably more of a California and the US in general are too big of a pain in the ass to deal with so they are going to go where they can easily invade markets.  All the countries listed also have better EV infrastructure than the US so I am sure that also plays into their decisions.

Sounds like my 2009 WRX. The key problem is every WRX from 2007 on has been boring. They feel fast and fun on a test drive, but there is no depth to the experience. So after 6 months the speed just feels normal and the shittyness of the rest of the car shines through. I chased chassis upgrades to make it fun for a

Agree and all those cars would have been situationally aware and let him pass, and he would just naturally be much faster. The big question is how far Lewis would be down the road from them.

I don’t disagree, BUT how much better would that ending have been if Max passed all the lapped cars before passing Lewis? With a fresh set of softs I don’t think Lewis had a chance even if Max had to pass half the field to get to him.

LOL, in reality I think Mazaspin would lap any Jalopnik commenter with one hand behind his back.

Masi did what would create the most exciting end to the race to drive the entertainment factor.

I am a Lewis fan who honestly felt bad for Max during the race. The whole brake check thing was just utter insanity.  The radio chatter from everybody was a complete dumpster fire as well.

Quick question.  How consistent do the steering wheel controls feel?  Do all the buttons and knobs have the same resistance?  GM used to screw this up really bad and it killed the design when you clicked one side and the button felt like it was going to fall out the backside and the other side you needed a hammer to

Old Crown Vic or Caprice with straight pipes and at this price you could throw a super or a couple turbos on it to keep it similar to the WRX.
