What happened after the first 3? I also noticed the drop off in writing (not animation) and overall quality. I assumed it was HJB’s work on Bob’s Burgers pulling him in too many directions.

Whoa shit
Archer continues to have the best animation of any modern cartoon, the way they blend 2D and 3D and the detail in the vehicles are always top notch.
CLS will get a refresh likely with similar lights or its own design when the S Class gets the facelift for 2018.
The Q5 directly competes with the GLC. The GLE would definitely be the best comparison especially price wise as the GLS will start in the mid to upper 60k.
Yeah I can see that being an issue. I often see cars with 5% limo tint all around and wonder how the hell they deal with that. That’s beyond the level I’m comfortable with.

The discussion came up during an S vs. 7 series debate and why the 7 series is more sporty both in look and feel interior wise and someone said because BMW took what made the 3 great and expanded on it while…
I think Merc has their formula down at this point. Make the S class the flagship and make smaller, less expensive versions of that. Other car companies make the small, less expensive version of a car and build up from that point to make their most expensive car.
I didn’t know it existed either this is a nice way to do it.
But is that good or bad? To have one of your least expensive cars look just as great as your flagship? I think it hits the right note.

You’re right about there not being substantial changes, but there were changes none the less. New transmission (7 speed) and a change in the layout of the V6. Other than that just cosmetic changes inside and out. I mean go take a look at the last couple of SLKs (172) and you’ll see even the interior has not changed…
