I don’t understand - this is a hotline for tips, where you can provide the Feds with information related to assets owned by oligarchs in the United States that may be subject to seizure. It’s basically just Crime-Stoppers for billionaires. Why would there be any concerns about talking to the Feds in this case? It’s no

“Normally, if you’re staring down a suit from the feds, you’re going to want to clam up and call a lawyer. The only time this advice doesn’t hold true is when you can both make up to $5 million and screw over a Russian oligarch, or at least a treasonous American in their employ, at the same time.”

I thought the feds seized my yacht too. Carpetbagging motherfuckers.

I feel like this is a story that comes around every few years with a new company set to disrupt the industry, only for companies to realize the costs involved in outsourcing the job is higher than just paying someone minimum wage to do it.

This will be like call centers. People from the Philippines and India with incomprehensible accents working for even worse wages taking your order. This may actually end up worse than call centers since cultural expectations of food could be radically different in other parts of the world

Remember when robots replaced all of these fast food workers? Yeah, I don’t either.

That’s a big hope, but there will be more truck drivers in 10 years, not less. The world will get increasingly globalized, and shit still needs to be moved from place to place. Maybe self driving trucks will do some of the driving, but it’s a fairy tale to think it’s going to be a revolution in the next decade.

And that rando wants free shit to write a review, for “exposure.” Garbage, useless grifters. Real critics pay for everything and don’t say a word.

THIS. Don’t follow “influencers,” don’t pay attention to them, don’t reward them in any way. They’re useless grifters with no value whatsoever.

Seeing anyone self-described as any kind of influencer is my red flag.

Not to mention that today’s POS systems are capable of not only seperate checks(you only pay for what you ordered) but they can also split the cost of a shared item - the nachos/fries can be split 1/5 ways or whatever you want!

Hard disagree with the this article.

IG is great for dog pictures.

This site spends most of its time blogging about Wendy’s and whatever Burger King is doing.

Not ded

If you’re following a food influencer, that’s a red flag.

I disagree rather strongly.

In the past with cash, if a server had to make separate bills they also had to create change for each bill. That was a lot to keep organized. But with credit/debit cards, and with modern computer POS systems like most restaurants have, it’s easy. The server can touch the touch screen for all

Right. It’s not splitting one bill eight ways; it’s eight bills. The servers ask up front and if they don’t, we tell them.  If they can keep the entrees separate, they can keep the bills separate.

I mean....that’s 0.033% of the US population in terms of deaths, spread out over the next 28 years?!?! That might as well be nothing when you take into account statistical error. You have to scale this stuff, 13.4 million lost work days is 478,571 lost days every year over the next 28 years. Working population of the

I always point out to the “you can’t clean a cast iron pan!!!!” crowds how cast iron is used in restaurants, and how the health department would take a dim view on not properly cleaning cookware.
