That’s for NASA’s P3
That’s for NASA’s P3
I tend to think that I have excellent taste, haha. You reminded me that I need a diesel (maybe I shouldn’t, Jalopnik hates diesels now).
Correction: NA 4 cylinder.
I stand corrected. That’s an even more impressive HP number now.
Sadly, I can’t correct my post anymore.
It sounds great for a Turbo 4. Here’s some other great engines (This is purely opinion).
Any radial engine
I stand corrected, I thought the 130s were first. After a little more googling I’ve seen my error.
#1 - That’s an A model in my post, they didn’t even have 4 blades at first.
I was talking about the similarities between two different airplanes from the same manufacturer. Of course the Electra and the P3 are similar, they’re the same plane before all of the electronic goodies get added.
Also, the reason for the increased time is likely due to fuel saving measures.
Chins up, fellas. You learn more from your failures than your successes.
This Yugo happens to have the same engine as the Lambo. Comparisons are appropriate.
Low wing is more efficient. The 130’s high wing keeps the props away from the FOD (rocks and such) when landing at marginal airfields.
That’s the Flight Engineer (I don’t know if NOAA calls them something else) keeping the engines in trim, and making sure that the fuel burn rate matches the flight plan. It’s a full time job in the rapidly changing atmospheric conditions above a weather system like that.
They’re using the MC/FMS/CNI-MU/etc... and the…
It has a fugly “Angry Squidward” face!
Video killed the radio star.
This shit is going to destroy all of the small content creators. It’s Cable TV 2.0.
“Meet the new boss, same as the old boss”
Whew, it’s good to know that there still isn’t anything about the new Minis that interests me. To each their own, I suppose.
Fucking Jalopnik, right here.
