Early morning report: Shirogane is a disaster. Server congestion meant many people simply could not log in and every ward sold out within minutes. Some FCs are buying out multiple properties for workshops or just to scalp. North American players banking on auto-demolition of abandoned plots are out of luck as the

Making money in this game requires time, hard work, and luck. Maybe a generous FC member will spot you a million. Maybe not.

The real fun is going to be watching the drama unfold around the housing wards. On each server there will only be 720 plots in the hot new housing district, and on servers with thousands of players that means people will be racing to their desired plots when the servers are back online in the scramble. Players on

That seems to be the common thread in every fandom that develops a toxic element: the fans feel they have ownership of the property and a right to defend it from any perceived threats. Only the creators get to claim ownership and the right to make changes. Everyone who is not a creator or at least an investor is just

Go chunky Samus, go! Your renaissance is upon you!

Hear hear! I’m not in accounting or data entry, but I still find my number pad useful and fast when I need it.

The sprites on 3D terrain gives me serious Breath of Fire 3 vibes.

The Bible also says that people, even Christ’s followers, are hella prideful.

And yet if they didn’t do that then Ketchup players would sit in lobbies forever waiting for the scant few Mayo players to become available for a match and then they’d bitch about that to hell and back. It’s a lose-lose!

Played the beta and had a lot of fun with it. It reminded me of the simpler back and forth from games like Street Fighter 2. Valerie turned out to be my jam.

The game reminded me of Street Fighter 2, before the series started getting really complex. But even easier to jump into as specials are executed with a button press.

She was my main during the beta!

The Fantasy Strike demo is live this weekend! It’s a little rough but I like what’s there. I could easily see this as my filler game when I don’t feel like firing up my mains and just want a few minutes of action.

Around here I can visit JJ’s without getting the sense that the employees would really rather I not be there.

The biggest advantage to the jump potions is skipping all the really boring early level stuff. With the job changes you can get a pretty decent hang of most jobs with a little practice and research. By skipping the MSQ to Heavensward you avoid a miserable series of filler quests between ARR and Heavensward.

Now that the server instabilities are a thing of the past, I am loving Stormblood! The new zones are beautiful. I fell in love with Kugane at first sight. My FC leaders are going to fight hard for a plot in the new housing ward. And the new dungeons are awesome. Doma Castle just blew me away! Samurai is fun but those

Oh my god he’s got a prop! Everyone take shelter!

Been playing this game for two years to the detriment of my entire library. I am SO hyped right now!

Another and potentially more serious risk of dry ice / liquid nitrogen in drinks is drinking it before the substance has completely sublimated. The gas could expand so much in your stomach that it could rupture the stomach wall!

Might be interesting to see this done on a healer in an MMO like FFXIV. Off the top of my head, when I’m healing I have to keep track of everyone’s health, their buffs and debuffs, my own buffs and debuffs, my cooldowns, global cooldowns, procs, health, mp, the enemy’s health, buffs and debuffs, watch the field for
