Might be interesting to see this done on a healer in an MMO like FFXIV. Off the top of my head, when I’m healing I have to keep track of everyone’s health, their buffs and debuffs, my own buffs and debuffs, my cooldowns, global cooldowns, procs, health, mp, the enemy’s health, buffs and debuffs, watch the field for

I don’t know why but that GIF is just pissing me off.

I am starting to reconsider my Netflix sub. It seems like the majority of their programming these days are comedians and documentaries, and there is more content leaving than being added.

Why does Kinja hate mobile browsers so much? I tried to read this article on my phone and it nearly had a digital heart attack.

The main character has a massive case of tumblr nose.

It’s not broken! It’s quirky!

You are correct. What’s different today is the tools they have at their disposal are so much more powerful. Sociopaths like this kid can cause so much more grief than I could ever imagine when I was his age.

I pay $15 a month to play Final Fantasy XIV, which regularly charges $18 for cosmetic outfits in the online store, which are character-locked, not account-wide. The most recent emotes go for $7 each. I laugh long and hard at For Honor players’ anguish.

Ninja and Dragoon have the most straightforward three-button combos. The character here is in aiming gear so he might be a Machinist. Machinist sort of has a three-button combo but it’s largely determined by the use of procs and cooldowns.

Dear god, yes. First-time clear in a farm party, spends half the fight on the floor doing half the DPS of a healer while they are alive, wins the roll on the whistle and will NOT take constructive criticism because their play style is unique and perfect.

On Jenova we like to march Behemoth mounts around the Aetheryte and stack them on top of Mint Dew.

It is easy to spend inordinate amounts of time in Final Fantasy XIV messing around with emotes and the group pose feature. Especially once you start messing around with the lighting settings!

I’m on your side of the fence. The moment I see the word “roguelike” I immediately lose interest. I just don’t enjoy them.

It’s one thing when it’s an option. It’s another when it’s the default look that’s used in all the marketing.

That...that was not smart.

Don’t know about you, but I heard a lot more noise being made over transgender rights than unions and worker’s rights.

Methinks they seriously overestimate how big anime’s audience is over here. Anime is a niche audience to begin with, and Yuri on Ice is a niche within that niche.

I like the idea of a free jump potion with the purchase of a new game. It will get new players caught up quickly, and then they can either level other classes the hard way or purchase another jump potion.

Agreed. It felt like ages to get through ARR’s story and Heavensward was already out by the time I caught up. What a lot of people are afraid of is other players being bad at their jobs. But even today, without a jump potion, there are Ninjas who don’t use Mudras, tanks who don’t mitigate, healers who don’t use Cleric

I have also been in that situation and cannot agree more. When a company can’t meet payroll anymore they have hit serious financial problems that they probably can’t recover from without massive downsizing.
