It was there, it just took way more effort for it to be heard. Back then you had to either look up someone's phone number or physically write a letter to express your rage. That took time and energy that might actually temper your feelings and make you think twice about what you're about to do.

Oh, to pre-order or not. It was a great game but I am seriously hoping modders will find a way to skip the torture sequence.

If you think of anime as another form of cartooning, then all that's happening is a form of caricature. Changing hair colors aside.

Rogue archaeologist or secret supermodel? YOU DECIDE!

I kind of think Ivy should be closer to "off her rocker." Depending on the interpretation she's either an eco terrorist with advanced knowledge of botany or a genocidal maniac who can freely manipulate plants on the genetic level and even directly control them. Either way she hates people.

I can only hope you're right!

Let's face it. The Macross sequels will never see the light of day in America. Even in Japan there are multiple rights holders.

Pluto is amazing. The first manga I knew I just had to collect. Anything by Naoki Urasawa is worth reading.

You are so right. Two episodes in and I already want him dead.

Cartoon Network's programming directors are continually stoned. They have no idea how to schedule a show so it gets exposure, how to handle merchandising, or the entire concept of DVD / Streaming releases. The only reason this show even has toys is because it's Hasbro and CN will bury it just like they do every

Oh god they're doing that again? I think they have a long history of jerking shows around that aren't straight-up comedies. That's why Gumball airs all day every day and it's likely Transformers won't even get the benefit of reruns.

Like Beast Wars before it, it features a ragtag band of characters forced together by circumstances beyond their control. This is not an elite military team, or a group of seasoned warriors that have been fighting together for eons.

I think it's really great you admit you have these feelings and act to counter them. They might one day go away, or they may be with you forever. I have religious views on the matter but I won't open that can of worms in a place like Gawker. Bottom line is people are messed up and those who acknowledge and fight their

This seems to be a thing everywhere. As soon as a marginalized group gains acceptance their individual prejudices will reveal themselves. The persecution that unified them had the side effect of creating camaraderie and fostering a sense of acceptance to others who shared their lifestyles or interests. Remove that

Ah so there is multiplayer. Perhaps there is the threat that the exploit can be duplicated in multiplayer.

Dying Light is a single player game, right? If so, then what's the purpose of patching out exploits in a single player game? Unless it causes a crash or can be used to cheat in multiplayer, why bother?

Would Kill la Kill be as awesome if they wore more conservative outfits?

My stake in this discussion is that when a character is always depicted as "sexy" they will lose that effect when it's really called for. When a woman is always depicted in miniskirts and skin-tight halter tops and then script calls for her to appear half-naked, well, there's already not much left to the imagination.

Spot on. I was interested in the premise, and then I saw that and I felt my interest and suspension of disbelief dissolve.

And here I thought I'd have no regrets switching to PC gaming.
