Per the seller, the previous owner stopped working on the car when “a friend and British car mechanic that was helping him with the electrical and carb set up passed away unexpectedly.”

60 year old British wiring? Probably easier to yank the existing harness and start fresh than spending the rest of your life chasing one electrical gremlin after another.
IF I wanted one, and could ignore that nest-of-snakes underhood photo of the wiring, I’d consider it. Maybe a little overpriced, but not insane.
I believe that's Bao and Luc.
Seems like them Duke Boys have gone more “green” this time around!
Now Daisy Duke was simultaneously electric and ICE hot.
Too many episodes will have Bo and Luke crashing into Enos and Roscoe because they left the General on Autopilot.
“Can they make it to the Supercharger station before Boss Hogg? Let’s find out...”
Why in the hell doesn’t it have a diesel? I was shocked to see it has a 460 gasoline engine in it.
Yeah, the stacks just ruin it for me visually. They’re tacky for the sake of being tacky. Lake pipes would have been a much better option if shiny, visible exhaust was a must have.
I am assuming there was a lip they demolished, and that gave them the needed lift to launch. I am sure more info will come out though.
Are they selling it because of disuse? Or because they had to fill the tank too many times?
The 80s A-Team theme is now playing in my head!
I mean, like.... how? I’m not seeing any rise on the opposite bank.... must’ve been SOMETHING to launch it. Was it just that part of the concrete on the other side that’s obviously missing? Man, where are store security cameras when you need ‘em?
Best thing you can do with one.
This is about a few inches of wheelbase to you ?? what a waste if you are not sing a massive people hauler to haul people
In 2005, this thing was to upper middle class white people as the Tesla Model S is to Indian IT guys. If you had one of these, you were THE MAN at your local baptist Bible megachurch. If you had one for your wife to drive, you were THE FUCKING MAN (because you yourself probably had a dually F-350) at the local baptist…
Plus, if you are going to be hauling stuff in the cabin, one would think you would get the fold-flat 2nd row bench rather than the captains chairs, that, to my knowledge, don’t fold out of the way as well.
Might be to haul large things while also towing something, though I agree with your assessment of the interior being too clean for that to be likely. I treat my station wagon like an enclosed pickup and haul things in it constantly - there have been maybe 5 times in the past 3 years where I folded up the rear seats…
