I don’t see how this is the county’s fault. It’s pretty basic knowledge that you don’t leave your vehicle in a snowstorm. Sounds like the family is lashing out because they don’t want to recognize their son/brother made a poor choice. Sad stuff for sure 

Sure, the Sheriff’s could have and should have done something better to find him, but the guy should have never left his vehicle in the middle of a fucking blizzard to begin with. Sorry for their loss, but shit, don’t blame the Sheriff’s office completely.

I haven’t lived in a place that snows in a long time but if I did, I think after this storm incident I’d be keeping some emergency gear in the car to handle getting stuck for long durations.
