Wrong.
Did you sleep?
Are you saying there was never a tax collector?
You cannot possibly count to a billion in your lifetime.
Weirdly, it says more about the accountability culture of documenting your process than it says anything about an overpriced bike.
My next car may very well be a Tesla, but it still won’t be my road trip car. Basically because of this for now.
I don't get this window thing at all.
All energy on planet Earth other than volcanism originally came from the Sun so really, it’s solar powered.
I’m not the actuary. I’m retelling the story I read.
All true. But every car truck and SUV is getting heavier than the last lately. Except Miata. Maybe Corvette. A freaking Camaro weighs more than my 2002 Honda van
That’s a serious concern. I see the truss design and I see the engineering need. The bed becomes a WHOLE LOT less useful when you can’t side load or if your nephew walks a big piece of furniture to the front of the bed and then can’t get out. Slide down the hood?
Do they want to run this down the same assembly line where they build S-X or 3-Y? Or do they want to set up a line just to do trucks? I own a wonderful set of shop tools at home, but I don’t bring them to work.
I’ll find the article. It wasn’t the Drive, but a pretty mainstream blog had a good write up on why the engineering choices. They basically want full-frame strength with Unibody weight. Just a normal, boring Model X stamped steel unibody doesn’t get you there. But with a full-frame, you have all the weight, plus many…
Maintaining a flawless panel is really important on a shiny, painted surface. Of which the hideously-named Cyber truck (gak!) is neither. PLus that windshield will take it’s own battery pack to defrost. I’m not saying the design is perfect or even that good. But they made the choices they did for engineering. Not…
The inner quarter and rocker and aprons are doing the heavy lifting in your unibody car. Not the cosmetic piece you see on the outside.
