My parents' old red van, complete with table! I loved that old thing. When my brother was a kid, he always said he wanted to live in it someday.

In the meantime (if you decide to get therapy started), here are a couple of things that might help you cope with things in the meantime:
9 Things Every Parent with an Anxious Child Should Try
Anxiety in Kids: How to Turn it Around and Protect Them For Life
I hope those at least give you a starting place to work with!…
That was very Rose from Titanic of you!
Ate lunch by yourself? Read books under the desk in class? Moved schools a few years later and life got way better? OMG ARE YOU ME???
That poor girl; what a nightmare.
When I was a little sophomore college theatre student, even though my focus was tech and design, it was a requirement to take an introductory directing class. Our prof was awesome and engaging, making the subject actually enjoyable. One day another student jokingly said, “Prof, will you have my babies?” Without…
Yes, she’s definitely on my (unfortunately short) list! I’m in charge of it, so I can do whatever the hell with it I want lol; we’re a small town library, so I really would like to have global stories and kinda get the kids thinking outside of just this area.
YES I’VE BEEN WAITING ALL WEEK FOR THIS!
Hugs to all of you! I'm right there with you on the anxiety/depression train. About two and a half weeks ago I finally got up the courage to make myself go back in to the doctor for a med change - and it's done nothing. So now I'm waiting another two weeks to see if the doubled dose of it works at all. It's the…
You could press the cutter lightly into what you want the design on, then follow the lines it made
Right there with you guys... and then after a social event you spend two or three days in backlash from it feeling like crap >_<
They make eyelash curlers:
SO MUCH THIS. I had someone at a gas station we stopped at during a two and a half hour drive for a follow up to my husband's cancer surgery tell me to smile. I think I just looked at him for a minute then went, "Why?" He told me some b.s. I'm pretty sure I gave him a disgusted look and ignored him after that. Great…
I thought of that, but she dislikes running water. Even a trickle in the sink and she goes all NOPE on it. She's still drinking, just not as much as she needs to when she's thirsty because it's difficult for her to navigate - unless she has to use the litter box or eat, it seems like it's just not worth the effort…
Thanks; I'm trying to take steps to make things better, but this crap is hard! On the upside, I have a kitty passed out on my legs!
So I'm in the grays, where this'll probably never be seen, but anyway. I've been having a rough time for quite a while with my anxiety (severe social anxiety that causes some agoraphobia/panic disorder/mild ocd) and depression (sinking pit of despair); I'm medicated, but it hasn't been helping much for most of a year…
Extra layer of ick to his behavior: His refusal to read the report of what happened to the six year old who was abused. If you're going to throw a child into a situation that turns out that way, you'd better freaking read what happened to that child you were responsible for, who didn't just read about it but…
I was thirteen, and had just moved to a new school in a new town - and was a hardcore nerd. Star Wars novels were my lifeblood. My homeroom teacher was also the adviser for the Sci-Fi club, so naturally I joined. I showed up to the first meeting to find that not only was I the only one not yet in high school, I was…
I can't see it as white/gold to save my life. I tilted my screen every which way, and ALL I can see is the blue/black. My hubby, on the other hand, saw it as blue/black then came back to it and saw it as white/gold - that was the point he kinda broke.
My grandma was the opposite - she has stacks and stacks of romance novels (she subscribed to Harlequin for YEARS), and one of her books was the first smut I ever read as a kid when I stayed over. She loved those things!
