I've seen otherwise rational people become very very strange when it comes to children. I don't get it. I like kids, but there seems to be some sort of judgment shut down when it comes to cute kids that I will never fully understand.

As long as that's what an artist chooses to do, more power to him or her. I have gotten hooked on and purchased the work of artists who I would not have known about had they not offered their stuff for free. This is a business model. So is what Ansari and Ru-Paul are doing.

I work in a field where piracy is a real concern. I didn't say that I wasn't aware of the nuances of the issue, I said that I don't spend a lot of my time thinking about people who practice piracy; these things are very different.

Reselling something is different. It's a normal part of society. Is it in any way reasonable to expect a person to forever keep every single thing that he or she has purchased? Is it theft to Toyota if you resell your car? Of course not.

Season 1 gave me hope that they'd be able to maintain an early Vampire Diaries-like sense of gleeful, semi-serious camp, but season 2 was just a mess. I didn't even make it the whole way through. I also broke up with Vampire Diaries last year, so I'm almost completely out of tv eye candy.
