Highly recommend this game. Takes maybe an hour or two to settle into it’s own pacing, but everything past that is well worth it. Give it a shot!

Escapism is a perfectly valid way to deal with stress and life’s bullshit, as long as you’re willing to accept that it’s not actually fixing anything, just helping put you back in a positive state of mind. From there, it’s on you to deal with the issue after the fact. Sometimes you just need a pick-me-up.

This probably isn’t a bad one to start with. I’d argue Awakening is the best “newbie to the series” game for modern gamers, but this one is looking really promising.

It’s a grid-based map with turn-based actions if that’s what you’re asking, yes. FE games aren’t really “fast”, they’re more methodical.

Maybe I’m in the minority here but given you are at war with these factions from the get-go I wasn’t really surprised by that reveal. It felt like the obvious conclusion, especially given the other parts discussing having to kill previous students.

Glad this is getting good reviews, I have really missed having Fire Emblem in 3D (Fates kinda counts).
