    I know it’s trite to say but the Mass Effect games really did make me think about a large variety of social situations that I was otherwise unfamiliar with at the time.
    Other games that come to mind are Gods Will Be Watching, my interactions with others in EVE Online, This War of Mine, and Papers Please. All four of

    Welcome to Fire Emblem. Just enjoy yourself and don’t worry about being optimal in your first play-through. After your first run if you’re still having fun, up the challenge a bit and test your mettle.
