Playing through this right now and honestly the soundtrack alone makes it a worthy buy.

An excellent successor to PoE1, which is also worth playing but for different reasons.

You could definitely argue that the Forsaken still have their souls and wits about them, that’s part of what Anduin comes to terms with during Before the Storm.

Yep, I saw this. Just kind of further reinforces the idea that Horde players get to be complicit in something that clearly thousands of them don’t want their character to be involved in, most likely for upwards of a year without consequence. (The siege of the Undercity non-withstanding, which could see the Alliance

I think the main issue is that we see this big event that is nothing but shock-value and evil (for the sake of being evil) at the cost of narrative design.

Narratively jarring: ME3. Sorry folks, it just still is. Please don’t hate me.

Played it at PAX, it’s pretty fun if you’re intro Metroidvanias and RogueLikes :)

    Whelp.

    Wooooooooooooo! Yay Tami! :D

I tend to waste it in Magic the Gathering: Arena.

    IT’S ALL TOO REAL.

Yea that could be a viable alternative as well. I think there may have just been concern that a system like that would confuse people?

I dunno, I don’t want to speak like I’m a Game Dev, I can only give an informed opinion from a player perspective.

    Big oof.

I guess I just question why she’s playing D&D specifically then?

I mean I love the RP and social aspects of D&D more than combat, but why not just play an entirely different system that doesn’t require violence?

Red Flag and walk away my man or gal.

Welcome to the fold Jason. I’m currently on a “oh this music would fit PERFECTLY for X” binge right now myself.

This doesn’t really make any sense...

There’s a lot of (probably warranted) cynicism out there about stuff like this, but PlaySaurus has had my support ever since they first announced this.

If we want Devs to follow ethical design practices, then support them when they do.

    Neat!
I will probably be awful at it!
    But neat!

Oh plenty! Shovel Knight, BATTLETECH, the Shadowrun series, FTL: Faster Than Light, Pillars of Eternity, Divinity: Original Sin, Wasteland 2, etc.
