Don’t overthink it. I’ve traveled overseas since Trump took office, and I have yet to meet anybody who wasn’t sympathetic.

Shhhh. It’s a Ueda game.

That’s a good point. Those are clearly the only things coming out of Japan.

This is the saddest sentence I’ve ever read.

Hot take, much?

What in the fuck are you talking about?

On a related note, it’s amazing how hard it is to find a good alarm clock.

Because Japan still understands what makes games fun.

“That’s a long list of groups of people consisting of millions of individuals who have little in common except they are humans.”

I’m not sure what Kyouya is going on about. Even if someone prefers Melee, you certainly haven’t said or implied anything “toxic.” I’m not sure he knows what toxic means.

This game is at the top of my FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING THIS TO SWITCH pile.

Honestly. The graphical style is at best vaguely reminiscent of old-school Zelda. And beyond that, it shares almost nothing in common.

I’m not sure I get your first point. Of course you have to build it. That’s the entire concept. There’s nothing to “rectify.”

It’s especially insane considering the Switch itself — gimmicky at a glance — has turned out to be Nintendo’s best idea in ages.

I agree that Rey is far from being a Mary Sue — certainly no more than Luke was in the original Star Wars. They have similar arcs, overall, discovering a proficiency in the Force despite minimal training. Luke spent like four days training with Yoda, and most of that was taken up by whining.

Self fulfillment seems like a pretty good reason to me.

If you like combo-based action games, then yes, you should absolutely check them out.

I love that it will be portable, but yeah... the Pro Controller is what you’ll want to use most of the time.

The gameplay is pretty much as deep as you want it to be. You could button-mash your way through and call it a day.

It’s not a “hoarding” problem, so much as it’s evidence of exactly what’s being discussed in the article.
