Ha. Appreciated.
Ha. Appreciated.
Precisely.
Yes. And to be clear if I wasn’t, the “him” in that quote referred to Manchin, not Biden.
That’s fine.
Yes, they “have control” in the binary sense. But in any realistic sense, they have a tied chamber. There’s a difference between controlling the Senate by zero votes and controlling it by 20.
I didn’t call you an ignorant Trump supporter nor did I suspect you were one. It’s clear that you’re arguing from the left.
1. That’s not remotely true seeing as it’s Democratic senators keeping the $2K figure from happening
1. The 51st vote doesn’t enter play unless they get to 50 first.
The fuck are you talking about?
Except he couldn’t. Remember when they all fell on their face trying to repeal Obamacare because just enough of their own defected to make it impossible?
It doesn’t fucking matter. This is out of Biden’s hands. Should Biden have downplayed the benefits of getting more Democrats elected to Congress in the middle of a pivotal Georgia election? Should he have gotten on stage and drummed up excitement by saying “hey, look... get these guys in office. It might not change…
“Dems control the senate.”
I think the OP was joking, but it’s still funny how the “make it in the USA!” crowd tends to be the same one that thinks American workers should have no rights.
Bullshit.
“Kinda like how he promised $2000 checks and hasn’t done that either.”
I’m curious why you think the Wii U port was “a lot better at it” seeing as it didn’t exist.
Yeah, I know. Just making something caught awkwardly between an observation and a joke.
I used to do the same — call myself “independent” because, I don’t know, it satisfied some sense of being a free thinker or something.
Because my comment isn’t a “both sides suck” comment. I see no reason not to register as a Democrat. They’re trying their damnedest to fix the mess that the GOP is constantly making, but it’s a huge mess and it’s impossible to fix without getting more reliable control of Congress.
I’m not sure what part of what I wrote leads to “register as an independent,” but go your own way.
