You’ve completely missed the point, and you apparently don’t have any understanding of libel law or freedom of speech.
You’re right about food production and its limitations. As a person in that industry, people don’t really have a grasp if just how much food is needed to actually feed folks. And in commercial enterprises, businesses are already doing what they can to be resourceful while still providing a fresh product (ex: using…
Way to miss the point. ABC wasn’t in the wrong because it told the truth. Perhaps the truth is inconvenient to you or to the people who make food. To fucking bad. It’s the truth.
You’re an engineer, which explains why you have no understanding of libel law.
I like it, I really do; but that side profile shot with those headlights is straight up Vette.
When my wife and I were dating, we worked in the same building and she was in HR. She called me down to listen to a voicemail from an employee who was calling in sick. The lady was doing her best sick voice then thought she had hung up and then resumed her story to her friend about how much she partied the night…
First, good for you on the weight loss. I’ve dropped around 40 pounds since November and can relate to feeling better after major lifestyle changes.
There’s lots of stories about weight loss, I’ve lost a lot of weight over the past 5 years and still have a bit more to go. But the most surprising and immediate effect of just not eating “junk” (college diet of wings and fast food) was that I stopped having all sorts of gastrointestinal issues and just had so much…
That’s really a different question, though. Diet and exercise do go together for a more broadly healthy lifestyle, and many people’s personal goals cannot be achieved through one or the other of them alone. That doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t spend time specifically thinking about only one of them. If you’re…
i lost close to 40 lbs going on the keto a few years back... then i got a new job and moved to a new city and it all came back (with a vengeance...)
I lost around 40lbs by just not eating so much. It doesn’t matter in the least what you eat as long as it is reasonably nutritious and if you want to lose weight you do less of it. Exercise also helps if you have the time and a good multivitamin helps for the vitamins you left out. Diet fads are worthless. All of them.
Take that Twinkie example. By switching “definitively” to keto/paleo, you’ve introduced a rigid diet structure to avoid ever having to assess if eating a Twinkie once in a while would be acceptable for your health. That approach is working for you, and well done on your desired weight loss.
Eating healthy may not extend your lifespan, but it can most certainly contribute to physical well-being throughout most of the time you’re living.
I do not expect to see the Chrysler or Dodge brands still alive within a decade.
Why would anyone want to buy FCA without Jeep? It is the most valuable asset in the company.

Back then that was still an option on most cars.
