ND also benefited from not having to share the platform with the RX-8.

Oh, I know that it’s full of compromises galore. I just unashamedly love the design. It’s not like I would be using it for every day tasks, that’s what my truck is for. And if I need more than a day or two worth of clothes in a duffle bag for a weekend getaway, I can just use my Fiero which has a much larger trunk

Thank you sir for bringing some actual facts into this discussion. I grew tired of telling people that the NC isn’t much heavier than an NB.

People really like to rag on the NC for putting on weight, but it really only gained about 50lbs on the NB, whereas the NB put on close to 200lbs itself from it’s first to last year, even more if you include the MSM.

S2000 for less than a Miata?

What miserable pieces of shit (design). How do you like that trunk that you have to lift the back of the top to open, then close BOTH sides of the top’s buttresses after you close the trunk if the top is up? Not to mention that you can’t fit a 6-pack of beer in the trunk without removing the bottles from the case,

Having driven both, the Miata is by far the better buy.

Not just voters. Average age of the 115th Congress is 58 (median 59) in the house and 62 (median 64) in the Senate while lately everyone running for POTUS 70+.

It’s not about you.

Perhaps it’s that older people vote - or perhaps it’s that the accident stats show older people generally not being involved in all that many accidents. The bad stuff that comes with aging causes a bit more risk for them, but their increasing caution generally leads to more conservative driving (often to the great

I worked as a valet for a few years, and I was kinda shocked at how many people still drink and drive. Spoilers: a terrifying amount. Not just beer, either...I found multiple cups full of straight fucking liquor.

Personal I think everyone should take the written test every 5 years, and the full driving every 10 no matter your age. I retained more information from freshman economics than most people have from the driving test they took at 16.

I’m not sure keeping older drivers on the road is a good thing. I personally think at around 60 they should have to take more frequent testing to make sure they remember the rules of the road and are capable of driving.

I had someone tell me at a party, with a straight face, as serious as a heart attack, how great the Cadillac they had just rented was because it “kept the car in the lane while I checked emails and wrote texts”

Worst Tinder profile pic ever: “Cruising for Love”

That lead photo isn’t the best picture of Patrick George that I’ve seen. Moving to New York must have taken its toll

I read only 15% of people have flood insurance in the Houston area. I know areas near me that have nowhere near the probability of flooding as Houston, but are in “flood zones” and you can’t even get a mortgage without flood insurance. Strikes me as illogical that people would live in Houston and not have flood

Maybe they stopped so she could break wind? When first dating people do that. 18 years and 2 kids later, not so much...

And not even then. I live in Ohio and the flood insurance for my house would have been more than my property taxes. If my bank forced me to carry it it would have been a deal breaker

uh, he’s got a foot and a half of water in his house, pretty sure he’s worried about more than just his cars.
