Flyin’ Miata is also working on upgrades for the 124, and have already stated that the suspension upgrades are exactly the same for the ND Miata, so the parts are interchangeable there. Same for the braking system...basically everything not related to the engine.

The NC to ND was a huge change. The entire body and chassis is smaller and lighter now. Flyin’ Miata has a build diary on this car here:

At 2500 pounds with the swap, that’s only 67 pounds more than my 2001 Miata LS. For the car they did the swap in, it ends up being just under 100 pounds more than the car was from the factory. For a massive increase in power.

Some of the body panels and interior pieces may be a little more scarce, but the rest of the parts are shared platforms among GM models. The G5 is the same as a Cobalt, the G6 is the same as the Malibu, etc., so drive train parts are shared.
