I know! I've always been so impressed with the original FFX.

Gotcha! I wasn't sure if there was some kind of nuance I was missing. But the FF games were the first time CGI ever really blew me away.

I really feel like there should be a Final Fantasy entry on here. Not from the movie, but from one of the actual video games. FFX was AMAZING when it was released in 2001, and FF8 in '99 was pretty damned good, too.

This was the first X-Men film I actually liked (and I've seen all of them but X3) so if Fox was going to keep making X-Men films, I'd rather see one in this continuity than one continuing Wolverine. It does seem rather up in the air, though, and no one seems to agree on whether they are more or less likely to make one.

Yeah, but that sounds like a lot of work! Like I said, I don't know much about making movies, it just seemed like a lot of time-consuming filming all at once. But what do I know? ;)

My English teacher did this for us for a Japanese novel she wanted us to read but was no longer in print. It was so badass of her.

Yeah, I figured it would be a big deal to take on Katniss which is why I wondered how it might affect XMFC. Like I said, Mystique can always look like someone else for a lot of the movie but I think it would be difficult to have the movie without her.

If an XMFC film gets greenlit for a sequel (as I tentatively hope), I'm wonder how that's going to work with Jennifer Lawrence tied up with the Hunger Games movies as well. It just seems like a lot of shooting in a short amount of time, although I know jack about how movies are made. Rose Byrne, who played Moira, said

I have to admit I had no desire to see the X-Men movie but my friends online kept telling me to good and I loved it. Now, I've seen it in theaters a total of 5 times, which is actually more than I went to the movies period last year. I'm really hoping it pulls out a sequel.

Ahahaha, actually no, because I'm still repairing 10 years of damage to my teeth from my insane soda habit. She's like "that's great, now get some damn fillings for all the tiny holes in your teeth!"

Soap operas are always going scifi-y stuff. I think it should be a Top 10 — 10 totally scifi/fantasy plots from daytime soaps. Between the ghosts, brainwashing, weather machines, soul switches and lost cities, I could build a list from ABC soaps myself. Oh, and brain chips! Can't forget those. ;)

I like to thing of it as a drug, lol. But yes exactly. It's not something to quench your thirst.

Speaking of RDJ, does Chances Are count as a magical comedy? Because I love it, despite its incestuous undertones, LOL.

Also! I like Heaven Can Wait, too. Ok, I'll just admit it, I like a lot of magical comedies but not most of the ones listed here. LOL.

I completely agree. I had such a crush on Jimmy Smits when I first saw this as an impressionable 13yo with too much unsupervised time with HBO. ;)

Would that one with RDJ be Heart and Souls?

I gave up sodas completely a year ago and I started by just replacing water with any soda I'd drink at meals. If I'm already eating tasty food, I don't need another flavor to compete, right? So it was easy this way to justify drinking water. Then if I wanted a Coke, I would have it on its own, as a food, to enjoy the

Not that there was any chance I'd ever see this but I'm even more glad that my movie money this weekend went to XMFC (again).

I don't think the first reboot did well at all handling the Kirk-Spock dynamic, so I'm not sure if I'm glad to hear they want to focus on other relationships/characters or if I'm disappointed I won't get some of the fix-it I was hoping for. Either way, I'll probably gnash my teeth through it like I did the first.
