I have never actually seen him praised - on Deadspin at least he's always (accurately) painted as sort of an asshole who's responsible for a lot of what Goodell does.

There is not a single mention of his Jewishness in any of this discussion. You can be anti-Israeli Right (and pro-Palestinian, for that matter) and sill abhor anti-semitism. Right?

Nah I think it's that Kraft here took a good stance on a political issue, and people are stepping in to say "hold on, this guy also has some shitty views too, so keep that in mind if you want to call him a super great guy". It's perfectly relevant given the content of the article.

Yes, Americans going out of their way to say how much they like the IDF usually means very specific things about their thoughts on Israeli nationalism, Palestine, and the road to a two-state solution.

Most Rays fans are young Tampa Bay residents, all of whom skew pretty heavily liberal.

If you don't actually think "rah rah IDF" is a dogwhistle you're deluding yourself.

To be fair, over 60% of Republicans under the age of 30 support gay marriage and have for awhile. I think it's more of the older (and southern) crowd that's ruining the party (and country) on social issues. My original point was that legalizing gay marriage is inevitable at this point and that's awesome.

Because they only have a few full time employees. Players and basically everyone who works in the stadium during games are independent contractors or hired by vendors. Its a creative way for teams to call themselves small businesses and get the tax and other benefits associated with it.

How is that a burn? Last I checked, the 49ers played in Santa Clara

Furthermore, no other Kraft Group company is on this list (International Forest, Rand-Whitney). These other companies are just as much, if not more affected by the potential legislative changes. This sounds more like more of a PR stunt than anything... and the large Patriots logo in the linked article is the payoff.Bo

I like Kraft a lot but man he is so so wrong on the issue of Palestinian rights.

My bad. For some reason I confused you with another commenter who said they were raised in the Middle East.

then he might have a chance :/

Yea the article is on point, it's definitely an uphill battle what with the judge not moving the trial or the fact that the jury has to be "death qualified" so basically pro-death.

I live in the Boston area (and was working right across the Charles River on the day of the bombing) and I feel more sorrow for all the people killed and hurt then any anger toward Tsarnev. Don't martyr him with capital punishment (which I think is barbaric any way) I want justice for all those hurt and killed.

This fooled me (and thousands of other people) mainly because the NFL Network retweeted it. Seriously, how does that happen? Were they following a newly made fake Ian Rapoport account? It has almost 1000 retweets but then they deleted it.

Also, not that he's there anymore, but wasn't LaRussa the ass that fell asleep drunk at a red light?

I went to a Cards-Royals game in KC several years ago. Always the worst series because of how Cardinal fans flood the stadium in their Eckstein jerseys. My friends and I take our seats in front of some St. Louis chubs who immediately want to start some "friendly" banter about what a treat it will be for us to see a

That guidance was present last year with rookie Oscar Taveras, in whom veteran players saw abundant talent, and wanted him to realize it. But Taveras, just 22, was killed in an October car accident in the Dominican Republic.

Hasn't it already been made abundantly clear how much St. Louis hates chocolate sprinkles?
