The Black Knight was the point I was SURE they'd start laughing out loud, but I think the absurdity of it just confused them. I think they liked the Killer Bunny though and the "Sir Not Appearing in This Film" joke.

Based on that still, she's never had to hold a can of soda in her life before. Probably has a dedicated servant just for that.

Maybe because I'm not a late night viewer, but I don't understand the point of the interviews section. No one seems to really like them compared to the stand up bits… are they just there to garner ad money from the films the celebrities are promoting while also helping viewers to drift off into sleep?

I feel like Cheddar can do everything American does but better. But then again I am a filthy vegetarian heathen, so my opinion on food is probably moot.

My daughter (9) claims to be impervious to advertising, though she does admit that she recently got a Bop It because it "looked cool on tv."

Ouch. I had mine (9 and 6 at the time) watch Grail recently, and it wasn't the hit I expected, though they did make it all the way through. A lot of the historical references and whatnot really went over their heads. I think they were more confused most of the time than entertained. Probably a better movie for tweens,

Yeah, I got a request from my younger daughter to see it, after we saw the trailer during an actually decent kids movie (Moana or something). That request was promptly denied.

For a second, I thought Oblivion might have been an elder scrolls movie adaptation that was so terrible that everyone instantly forgot about it. I assume it's just another really generically titled action flick though.

Eh, I think Purple Rain is far more immediate than this. I was a little put off by it on the first few listens, and still don't consider it among my favorites of his. But I'm generally more of a fan of the early stuff, where it's just ALL him.

The thought of almost any action movie running over two hours just exhausts me. Guess I'm getting old…

Yeah I'm constantly being logged out across all devices, and sometimes it'll let me log back in with my AVC account, sometimes not. This has been happening for years though. Sigh.

This Mount Eerie album is kind of unreal…almost physically impossible to listen to some of these blunt lyrics. And yet, some of his most poetically beautiful stuff on here too. I don't even know what to think of it tbh… obviously a great album, but not sure how or when to really listen to it or understand it.

This episode came close to being a legit F for me because of the Dustin stuff. For him to go full on psycho out of nowhere and then stop on a dime and make the nice guy move of hiding from gus? Really some of the dumbest writing I've seen on this show. And Harry Crane wasn't doing anything to give the character more

I'm thinking they will break up towards the end of S3 and that'll be the last season

Seriously, where's the Gentleman's F we deserve?

3 1/2 good songs is literally every Drake album every made, as far as I'm concerned. Referring to him as an "album artist" in the review seems completely absurd.

I feel like his foray into more big-budget Hollywood stuff wasn't as successful. I'd like to see him stick with smaller, smarter indie stuff. I still associate him heavily with Croupier, a movie I really adored.

I thought the first half of S1 was pretty fantastic all around. But then it got too over-the-top for me by the end of the season. Having EVERY single character self destruct, was a little too much. Was so put off by the finale, that I haven't bothered with S2 yet.

Lynch's work kind of transcends criticism in a way. Even Dune, which is as close as he's come to "objectively bad" still has its merits, and would likely have been much better with less studio pressure.

Eh, I think the C+ is defensible. It's a bit of a step down from their last album, but still pretty good in its own right. Personally, I'd give it a B, but I could see people liking it either more or less than that.
