Miguel Sapochnik has gotta be the best director in tv right now…can't wait to see what he brings next week (though it'll probably be a lot more subdued).

SO HYPED for more Bojack… I had also been too lazy to know this was on its way.

I gotta try and do a Marathon with my kids…or at least 2-4. My oldest daughter's "favorite movie" is the new Star Trek, so she's got some learnin to do.

But…. Wun Wun didnt :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Yeah Im a bit mixed…I pretty much agree with all of your points, but I still found both battles pretty thrilling. The direction was spot on throughout, though the writing could have been better.

Oh ok…that's encouraging. I'm on S2E10 I think. I had heard reports that it outgrew the procedural format after S1, but maybe I just have to be a bit more patient.

Im in the same boat…people always say that POI gets better, but it just hasn't for me :(

I think you're right… look at Paul Ryan. Dude has already been saying a lot of intelligent, rational things lately…something we haven't heard from the GOP in years. I think this will be a sobering wake up call for them.

I was actually really digging this episode… the first half of it. But then we got the almost-comical offscreen death of the Blackfish, the clunky chase scene, another off-screen death, and a pretty lackluster confrontation with the faceless dude. Oh and Dany magically showing up, but not actually wrecking anything.

I actually made a spreadsheet at work plotting the metascores, RT scores, and user scores of every Pixar film, and added trendlines to back up my theory that their recent output has noticeably declined by every available metric. Hmm need to add Nemo 2 to this now.

I saw it too with my kids. Objectively, it's not a great film. There's some weak acting, weak CGI, way too many main characters, an unfocused plot etc etc. Still thought it was pretty cool, and definitely scratched my high fantasy itch. I hope all that china $ allow there to be sequels, because I really want to delve

I was cheering quite a bit after those scenes… the last two episodes were fairly non-violent, so it was a breath of fresh air to see some gold old death and dismemberment again!

Seriously…Tommen is irritating me so much lately, I'd almost rather have Joffrey back. Almost.

NERRRRD!

Blizzard seriously needs to throw all of their Hearthstone and Overwatch cash into just making a really cool CGI movie. Hell, just even release it straight to Netflix if you want to avoid a theater fiasco like the FF movie.

Expected? Hell no. Hoped against hope…. yes *sob*, guilty.

STOP TOUCHING ME!

I think you're 100% right, but I think it was still possible to tell a decent, semi-original story in the Warcraft universe (or SC or Diablo for that matter). Honestly, though, I have no idea what the writers/designers here were thinking. Also, aren't Orcs usually green in WC?

Exactly… the first RE movie was such an abomination in my mind, because I feel like it would have been soooo easy to make a goofy/dumb horror movie with the setup of either of the first two games. But instead they ported over a whole bunch of nonsense to make a generic zombie action movie.

Yeah that's the good one. It's kind of like how the typical Jesus fish is boring, but then the legged Darwin fish eating the jesus fish is suddenly clever again.
