as much as I love Waits, pretty much every cover version they used (except season 5) was incredible. even if I didn't like it at first, they each grew on me, and I treasure them (nearly) as much as the original.

yup…this alone makes BSG's credits one of the worst ever for me. even if you don't mind the spoilers, having all the most exciting moments of the episode shown up front is ridiculous. also, you can gauge exactly what kind of episode it was going to be if those "exciting moments" involved shooting down cylon raiders or

eh, i like most of the songs off the first album and a few off the second. i'm not proud to admit it, but I don't think they're terrible. better than Stone Temple Pilots, right?

i dont want to come back down from this….strokes album. it's taken me all this time to find out what i neeeeeeded. Yeah! Yeah!

as discussed in the last newswire about the Strokes, Angles is well-liked around here damnit! well liked!

while hobbes' computations seem pretty thorough, I have some doubts to their accuracy. my dad, born 1946, was eligible for the vietnam draft, but was held back. I'm 30. So there are a lot of data points outside for your range.

what about myspace. i saw an ad the other day that myspace is music. so i guess it's a thing, and according to their own desperate advertising, a still relevant thing.

indeed. i complete reject the premise that coldplay ever was good or even indie-leaning. unassuming (on their first album) maybe…

oh god…don't jinx it

no. you quite simply aren't cool enough and never will be.

sure, why not?

1. Da Funk

what, are you claming dialupmodempunk isn't a cool trend anymore?

i guess Tremors is more valued as a comedy these days, but when I was little, it (and Gremlins) scared the holy hell out of me. and Arachnaphobia…that's supposed to be played for laughs too, right?

biggest surprise in this article: finding out that Monkeybone is somebody's treasure.
