this movie looks like Van Helsing + Brothers Grimm + Once Upon a Time. I think the success of the latter is the entire reason this is getting made.

I'm kind of thinking "not brilliant." There are bands that can pull off a string of amazing 8-9 minute songs. Yo La Tengo, for instance. The Knife doesn't strike me as one of those bands…. but we'll see

yeah it does seem pretty quick, but the last album was awfully slight, so I get the impression it didn't take that long to write/record.

if i remember right, it's about 8 syllbles with no meaning, used in various combinations to express the emotion of the song.
