was it hate, or just bored indifference? because for me, it was the latter…and i've never been able to muster enough interest to check out anything else they've done since.

women got nominated….misogyny!!

maybe there are technically worse movies…but these ones deserve the nod for being so conceptually bankrupt.

let me gues…you're one of those people still bitter at the oscars too, because Gandhi beat ET. GET OVER IT!

yeah exactly…if you don't like similar jokes repeated in different contexts, i have to say that AD might not be the show for you.

the locker combination joke is amazing in its detail and execution by Bateman. even the "boring, straight material" manages to be funny on this show

I agree…while most plot points were surely planned in advance, the actual jokes were probably more off-the-cuff. like the writers had so thoroughly memorized what had gone before that every time they wrote a new joke they could simultaenously riff on an older joke.

yeah, you don't NEED to watch the show precisely in order. you'll miss most of the in-jokes, but it'll still be funny. and then you can save all the "aha!" moments for your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc viewings.
